Journey maps: pitfalls and possibilities

At UXPA 2016, I took part in a panel on journey maps. I talked about some of the benefits of journey maps – but also about some of their limitations. Journey maps: pitfalls and possibilities from Caroline Jarrett #usability #user research

Today’s flower photo had to feature snow. This is a leftover rose that has clung on into the winter.

I am devastated to hear that migrant NHS staff who have risked their lives during the pandemic to keep us all safe have been DENIED a vaccine due to not having an NHS number. This is completely unacceptable and we won’t stand for it. RT if you agree. https://twitter.com/theda_uk/status/1352953410849533952

Our letter to @MattHancock today after hearing reports that #NHS staff are being denied the #covidvaccine because they don't have an NHS number.

Today’s flower photo is of a couple of choisya blossoms way out of season that I saw on a local walk, illuminated by some unusual winter sun

New to me, brilliant as always from @mattedgar on Target Operating Models.

As I find myself saying, often: "instead of talking about how we might work in future, let's try doing some work now and find out what that feels like".

In today's episode of "Fix the forms, one at a time", it's the mystery of the invisible button.

Enlarge the image to discover:
- an instruction to click the 'Submit' button
- no button anywhere
- a hamburger menu that doesn't have 'submit' in it

Sigh.
